Girls Golf Rocks encourages beginner girls age 5 to18 to learn and play golf in a fun, friendly and a way that rocks. The program runs nationally across England and England Golf are supporting clubs and facilities during the 2024 season.
Low Laithes Golf Club is one of the Clubs joining this initiative and is passionate to help get more girls
into golf as an enjoyable sport and pastime.
The sessions will be run by our 3 golf professionals who are all DBS checked

On Sunday 24th March, 2024 at 10.30am, Wakefield Hospice are holding a 1K family-friendly Fun Run which starts and finishes in Thornes Park. Local school pupils are encouraged to enter.
Any school whose pupils collectively raise over £250 will be entered into a special draw to win £1,000 of sports equipment for their school.
There is also a £100 voucher up for grabs for one lucky child who enters the Fun Run.
